Extensión: Más equidad y mayor accesibilidad en la atención sanitaria

El proyecto Teleictus conlleva un proceso de innovación tecnológica e integración horizontal entre hospitales y el impulso del trabajo en red se orienta al paciente y a la mejora de los resultados asistenciales. La iniciativa también mejora la equidad de la prestación sanitaria y la accesibilidad de los ciudadanos a los servicios de salud.

En el marco del Plan Director de la Enfermedad Vascular Cerebral (PDMVC) del Departamento de Salud, el Proyecto Red-Teleictus Cataluña prevé la puesta en funcionamiento de este sistema de telemedicina, para el tratamiento del ictus en su fase aguda, a lo largo del territorio catalán: en una primera fase está prevista su extensión en 11 hospitales de Cataluña.

En dicha extensión se ha incorporado la plataforma MEDTING como mecanismo estructurado de compartición del caso clínico así como la herramienta MIO de C2C para el envío y transmisión automatizada de la imagen desde el TAC. Medting posibilita el intercambio y la discusión del caso clínico de forma asíncrona, agilizando la comunicación y dismunyendo los costes cuando no es necesaria una comunicación online.
