What is the best way to reach translator opportunities? By filling out the web pages of translation companies or by sending an email asking if they need a translator?

How do you do this?

1. Having a 100% complete profile and all the right keywords down at the bottom (where Google does its searches). At the moment you only have eight! To get some ideas, look at other people's profiles.
2. Having a particular specialisation or area of expertise that sets you apart from the competition.
3. Waiting patiently for people to find you when they Google for a translator who has your attributes. This may not happen for a long time, and it may not happen very often but when it does - you're in business!

If an agency doesn’t have a form online, they will doubtless send you one when you reach out to them.

You will then go to the bottom of a big pile and sit there forever.

If you can meet people face to face you will jump the queue.

The greater the "papyrology", i.e., the more forms you have to fill in, the lesser the chance you will get any business from an agency. Usually the PM is just collecting CVs. Your "onboarding" forms will most likely languish in an agency's database for centuries.

I wouldn't recommend reaching out to any agency; it might be far away and you'd need incredibly long arms.

You could just contact them.
