Originally from Livorno, Italy I moved to the UK in 2008 and to sunny Sheffield in 2009.
I've worked with both my languages for years, and done many different jobs; the passion for languages and finding the right term to fit a given situation is what initially led me towards the translation world.
I then discovered that I enjoyed Interpreting even more and decided to focus on it, so I enrolled in a course for IoL's DPSI- law curriculum, with the exam to be held in June 2013.
I am working freelance since October 2012. What I particularly like about it is dealing with my clients in a direct, no-frills and timely fashion and being able to choose what to commit myself to.
I learn new things fast and enjoy new challenges. I like working on different, interesting projects and with clients that appreciate the care and passion I put in what I do.
What working with me means:
• thorough terminology research and glossary building
• friendly and positive service
• deadlines never missed
• great care given to client's requirements and specification
• value of feedback
• double proofreading guaranteed
I am widely travelled and well read. Amongst the things I love are cinema, couchsurfing, cycling, alternative lifestyles, music, vegetarian and vegan food, boardgames. |
