I am a native Hungarian speaker have been living and working in Ireland for 5 years . I translate in the language pair from English to Hungarian and Hungarian to English. Recently I have been working as a freelance translator and I am seeking opportunities to use my Hungarian and English language skills within a professional context, in a role that utilises my communication and interpersonal skills.
For the past months I have worked with ITIA in Ireland - I joined in September, 2014 - and Ablana Translation And Literary Service Ltd. providing translation services. I have translated official communication between Beckford Search Partners and its Hungarian connection. I have also provided Hungarian /English tutoring services to both international professionals and students studying the Hungarian/English language, and presently I am also working as an EFL teacher in Ireland. I would be available to teach English/Hungarian - for work -to your company's employees as a freelancer teacher.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with the specialisation attached to the English for Specific Purposes: the European Union training. I have also completed a course at the college on Translation Studies: subjects as English Essay Writing, Rhetoric and Stylistics, Theory and Practice of Specialized Translation , Communication Skills . I enjoy not only translating but also doing the linguistic checks of texts. In addition, I completed the CELTA University of Cambridge TEFL course (recognised by ACELS) in Dublin in 2013.
I am an extremely hard-working, responsible and mature worker, who enjoys working in a team as well as autonomously and who can work weekends and even holidays if a project is urgent.
