Why design a Business Plan?
It is important for entrepreneurs and successful businesses to spend time analysing the market for their product or service, finding out the costs of materials and equipment, devising a budget, designing a marketing strategy and fixing targets. All of this information feeds into your business plan - which will act as a plan and a guide to run your enterprise.
A good business plan will help you to:
• set goals and develop strategies
• help you run the business and make decisions
• plan and organise your activities
• measure your progress
Important: If you do not plan your business properly your business is likely to failure. A good plan will allow you to transition smoothly from planning to implementation and you will more easily be able to overcome any obstacles you may encounter.
Remember: Fail to plan = plan to fail.
