Originally, I'm from Spain, but I have lived in the US for more than 17 years. I hold a BS (Licenciatura) in Biological Sciences from the University Complutense of Madrid and a PhD in Cell Biology from Georgetown University, Washinton DC. After earning my doctorate, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Cancer (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH) at Bethesda, Maryland and later at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
