Translation - English From their first year of age, children are more independent and are mastered the skill of standing; they can move around and start to say their first words. They are able to move their whole body and begin to co-ordinate their movements. As their motor skills and control over their body develop, so do their opportunities for play and learning.
In addition to the activities outlined below, it is important that children have a safe space for free- and self-directed play.

Translation - English In summer the temperature can reach 50 °C (120°F) in the shade and, in winter the cold is so severe that it can freeze anything. Everywhere you look there is sand - the desert is never-ending.
The Sahrawi people found refuge in one of the most inhospitable regions on the planet: Hamada de Tindouf in western Algeria, on the border between Morocco, Mauritania and Western Sahara.
Around 200,000 people live in the 4 camps or wilayas: Smara, Auserd, Dakhla and Laayoune.
They are separated by around 20 or 60 kilometres, except Dakhla which is 200 kilometres away from the others.
Each wilaya is divided into villages, or dairas. Each daira is then divided into 4 neighbourhoods. The dairas and the wilayas have been named after towns in the occupied territories.
Within the Sahwari refugee camps a government in exile has been organised. Most of the population live in Bedouin tents or in numbered adobe houses without drinking water and with a total lack of any means of subsistence. Each neighbourhood and group of tents appoints a leader to take responsibility for, and organise life in the community. In the administrative capital, Rabouni, are the Protocol Office, Presidency, ministries and other government offices. Every adult living in the camps is required to be on a committee. There are 5 committees: Health, Education, Supply, Economic Development and Justice and Social Affairs.
The women of the dairas are in charge of governance and the committees, as all men are required to be either in the army or students.

Experience
Years of experience: 9. Registered at ProZ.com: Dec 2015.
I am an experienced and qualified French and Spanish to English translator based in the UK. I have a Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a BA (Hons.) in Modern Language Studies from the University of Nottingham.
My main specialisms are tourism and marketing. I get a real sense of satisfaction from the creativity that is required to turn a text into something that will really speak to an English-speaking readership; sniffing out original turns of phrase and puzzling out how to deal with linguistic challenges to make the translated text truly dynamic and enjoyable to read, whilst maintaining the content and feel of the original.
I am able to provide translations for a range of other business needs. With my strong research skills and wide-ranging knowledge, I take pride in translations that are accurate and fit for purpose.
Unlike many other translators, I have direct experience in working in the industries for which I translate. I have worked as a policy adviser for the UK government, as a teacher and in various roles in the travel and tourism industries. This mean that I understand my clients' needs and concerns. I know what I am talking about and that shines through in my translations.
