I am working as a FULL-TIME Professional Translator (English - Hindi). Hindi is my native language and I live in Northern India.

My decision to become a full time freelance translator has been driven by my passion for Hindi language. After having completed my MCA (Master of Computer application), I started developing a proclivity for translation. Although, I worked as a programmer in a reputed university for some years, I also kept myself involved in translation work (part time or full time) in some way or the other, after completing my studies. A fascination for world literature and world cinema inspired me to learn the style, nuances and vocabulary of English language.

I belong to a well known spiritual city of India, Varanasi (also known as Kashi or Banaras), which is the land of Hindi language, art and culture. Having lived many years of my life in this city, I think, I have had an opportunity to get a very close knowledge of Hindi language.
