than 15 years’ experience in translating and editing, structural editing, developmental
editing and proofreading  of a variety of content—peer-review
research papers, book publications, research proposals, clinical
study reports, protocols, briefings,
meeting summaries and corporate material;

• Expert knowledge of a variety of subjects: PhDin English, DESS
  in Translation (specialization in Medical Terminology), MA in Legal
  Translation, PG Diploma in International Development, MSc in Psychology; Certificate in Medical Editing, Certificate in International Law;
• Excellent proofreading skills with
  more than 5 years’ experience in the use of Adobe Acrobat mark-up tools using BSI standard proofing
  marks;

• Experience
  in translating and drafting UN meeting reports on human rights, women’s
  rights, child rights, torture, migration, etc.;

• Fully bilingual
  in French and English (more than 12 years of residence in France), with
  excellent Spanish, and a working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese;

·    Highly
numerate, comfortable
with statistical data analysis, qualitative and quantitative research methods
(including the use of statistical software such as SPSS and nVivo);

·        Excellent
research, fact checking and referencing skills, and the ability to analyse the
accuracy of research. Familiarity
with referencing software (e.g. EndNote, RefWorks, Zotero);

·        
Excellent
knowledge of various formatting styles such as APA, Harvard, MLA and Chicago;

•  Remarkable deadline sensitivity and time
  management, ability to
  work on several simultaneous projects to multiple deadlines.
