Charo, (a.k.a. Charo Welle, Charo Veras Welle, Rosario F. Welle, and Rosario Welle) is a freelance English-Spanish translator, editor, proofreader and interpreter, owner of VerasWords Translations, serving direct clients and partnering with other colleagues.
For the past 18 years her working expertise includes the translation, editing, and proofreading of documents in the areas of:

information, special education, children literature, community education
>Marketing and media: press releases, catalogs, community surveys and campaigns, newsletters
>Cosmetics: training manuals, catalogs, and promotional content for digital communities
>Healthcare: patient information, communicable diseases, discharge summaries, written consents
>Religion (Judeo-Christian): publications, study guides, training, literature
Charo is a member of the American Translators Association (ATA) since 2001 and has actively participated in its Spanish Language Division’s activities. Currently, serving as the Division's Administrator, and is also acting as the chari of the Division's Leadership Council. Charo has also been recognized for her years of volunteer work in her community and many other worthwhile projects.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Charo is interested in furthering her knowledge in languages, cultures, communications, history, literature, and religion. |
