I'm a sworn translator, but I've worked most of the time for consulting firms where I have translated different kinds of technical texts. I have recently chosen to specialiaze in Sanitary Engineering and water issues, mainly because a friend of mine is an experienced engineer on this field and is ready to give me a hand for corrections.
