I currently work as a Contract Specialist in the Legal Services Division of Solar Turbines, where I am responsible for commercial contract risk mitigation via legal analysis of customer-proposed terms and conditions in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
I also do freelance work in technical translation, medical interpreting, and Castilian Spanish voiceovers.
Previously, as a member of Solar's Corporate Translations Group for 12 years, I contracted freelance translators and/or agencies via ProZ to meet Solar's translations needs. Solar translates its documentation into 20+ languages to meet customer requirements.
Translated document types include: Operation and Maintenance, Overhaul, Package Refurbishment and Aftermarket manuals, engineering diagrams, software text strings, parts lists, bids and proposals, contract terms and conditions, and package labels.
