During my study of mechanical engineering at the technical university of Braunschweig I started to work as a freelancer for the "Peine AG" translating the documentation of cranes for container handling and translating commercial and technical correspondence. I also did service my customer as a translator in trainings for customers technical people, during business meetings with potential customers. I developed a system to support my services and in that context I also did the tests to to get the title of a technical translator and interpreter. Later i was hired by National Semiconductor as an "Field Application Engineer" This was the beginning of a career that made me head of a lab for graphic terminal solutions. The i changed to to sales starting as the account manager for Siemens Nixdorf working for Motorola Semiconductor supporting in this function within Motorola the cooperation with Siemens Nixdorf on their last bipolar mainframe project that involved developing a new semiconductor product generation for bipolar ASICs. This developed to become the global account manager responsible for Siemens Nixdorf worldwide and for Bosch telecom worldwide. Then for 1 year I worked as the head of sales for a Spin-Off Semiconductor participating in building their worldwide sales channels. Then I was hired by Lucent Technology as a Business Development Manager for Germany responsible to lead the activities as a "Change Agent" of corporate culture and the sales of their "Service Branch", mainly their consulting forces.
Then, due to the effects of the Internet hype implosion, I had to reactivate my activities as a translator and interpreter, benefitting from my corporate world experiences and my technical expertise. As a hobby resulting in selling consulting services I renewed my activities to stay informed in the leading edges of some technologies in electronics and in design technologies.
So I do offer my services as a translator and interpreter in technical and managerial areas were my deep knowledge in technical and managerial areas add to the value of my services.
