Oora was green and scaly, and she had a long tail. But the United Planets Council put her in my class of humans at school. She learned our language, Earthish, pretty well. And she caught on to most of our lessons and games.
But many of the human kids thought that an ammu like her was strange. Some of them called Oora “Lizard Lips.” And we were living on her world!
I had come to this planet, Oolumaree, with my parents just a couple of months ago. They were part of a Universal Minerals scouting team. Huge dinosaurs used to live on Oolumaree millions of years ago, but they’d all died out. All except one type of small, gentle dinosaur—the ammu. Ammus walked upright and developed a big brain. Like my friend Oora!
After school one day, Oora said, “I show you ammus’ secret treasure?”

Varana era verde y escamosa tenía una larga cola, aun así, la Organización de los Planetas Unidos la asignó a mi salón de humanos en la escuela. Comprendió nuestra lengua, el geoés, muy bien y aprendió casi todas nuestras lecciones y juegos.
A pesar de ello, muchos niños humanos pensaban que una crotáfido como ella era rara, algunos la llamaban Varana “cara de lagartija”, ¡aunque eramos nosotros los que vivíamos en su planeta!

The stated function of almost every pro-ana site is to help visitors achieve their weight-loss goal. The busiest and most popular pages on the sites I viewed were dedicated to ‘thinspiration’: material explicity posted to encourage others to lose weight.
‘This is a great place to share your own thinspo or link to great thinspirations you see on the web. Thinspire others!’ suggests one forum dedicated to thinspiration, linking to almost 30,000 photos.
According to Dr Emma Bond, thinspiration is the most common material posted on pro-ana sites and forums.
