Source text - English 1. OWNERSHIP. Composer and Company agree that the Deliverables produced hereunder shall each be considered a “work made for hire” as contemplated and defined in the United States Copyright Act and to the extent any of the Deliverables are not considered a “work made for hire,” Composer hereby assigns all rights of copyright and copyright renewal therein, whether now existing or hereafter created, and all other rights whatsoever, to Company. Composer acknowledges that under the terms of such arrangement the Deliverables and all rights therein are the sole property of Company, its successors and assigns, for all uses and purposes whatsoever throughout the world in perpetuity. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Company’s rights hereunder include, but are not limited to, the right to edit, license, secure copyright registration of, substitute new titles for, copy, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, and transmit digitally, the Deliverables, and, without limiting the foregoing, Composer shall cause its employees, independent contractors and contributors to expressly, unconditionally and irrevocably waive the benefits of any provision of law known as “moral rights” in relation to material supplied by or on behalf of Composer pursuant to this Agreement (including without limitation, any rights under sections 77 to 85 inclusive of the U.K. Copyright, Designs and Patents Acts 1988) or any similar law of any jurisdiction. To the extent such rights are vested in Composer, Composer hereby irrevocably waives such rights. Composer shall cause the writers, vocalists, musicians and other personnel it engages in connection with the creation and production of the Deliverables to sign the Work Made For Hire acknowledgment form attached hereto whereby such individuals acknowledge that they are engaged in a “work made for hire” relationship.
