"To love what you do and know that it matters -- how could anything be more fun?" Translating is my fun.
I'm a dedicated, communicative, and punctual Spanish to English translator specializing in identification, academic, and religious documents (Roman Catholic and Protestant). With a passion for detail and accuracy, I seek out and implement tools and training that result in an even higher quality target document.
When I'm not working, I educate my HIGHLY active toddler, play ping pong (say that 5 times fast!), and go on bike rides to keep my mind and body sharp. I love hot tea on cold nights, which is where I got the first line of my bio. It rings true: translation is a beloved work-hobby of mine, because getting it right matters.
My first job, just after graduating, was daunting: hundreds of pages of meeting notes! After that came translation of web pages, then speeches for TEDx, and now, after much research and practice, I work for the highly-rated translation company Rev.com, for whom I have also provided subtitles.
