I decided to pursue my career as a Translator and Interpreter after having graduated in 2008 from University College London with an honour’s degree in Italian language and literature. I then travelled to France and Israel to culturally and linguistically enrich myself before deciding to enrol onto a Master’s degree course in 2010. In 2012, I graduated in Translation and Conference Interpreting from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
Prior to my Master’s, I worked as an intern in-house translator for a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) company in Tel Aviv, Israel during the summer of 2009 and also briefly worked as an interpreter and in-house translator for a solicitor’s office in Orihuela, Spain. I gained significant legal translation experience in the winter of 2011 after having secured a place as an intern at the prestigious law firm, Baker & McKenzie in Madrid. In 2013, I decided to move to Montreal, Canada in order to improve my spoken and written French and establish myself as a freelance translator and interpreter.
