I am working on a technical translation of a grill tool kit 2500 words update on a finance software (UI string) program and 566 words safety instructions for a fan! I am working on a marketing text about sustainable washing products – and loving it! Later set to translate UI strings for a software for ventilators. One of those days where I am getting payed to translate solutions for solving current world problems. Translators are essential workers! Recently been working on a tram manual (safety meassures) + UI string translation update on a ongoing project (2 years) + Marketing text for laminate floors! (edited) The past few weeks I have been back to working daily on fashion translations and proofreading for a long-term client. This week also doing technical translation of list items for a website selling chemical solutions as well as UI string translations for another long standing client for an accounting software. Been working mostly on UI-string projects for HR and finance last couple of weeks. March/April is usually when I recieve lots of technical translations originating in China. Haven`t had much of that. New year and new beginnings after some days vacation; now working on translating KIID for a bank, Marketing text for parquet floors and proofreading Marketing texts for a Fashion web site. In addition, I have also been busy with updates for a recurring project about HR and Invoicing software. This week I am doing LSO/final proofreadings of marketing translations for fashion and for a well known board game made into an App-game ++ Last week was all about translating marketing content for a fashion website and a hotel website. This week I am back to industrial engineering. I love that my specialty fields allow me to take on such a wide variety of projects! About to deliver a 10 000 word project receied before the weekend for marketing texts and manuals for sailing/maritime navigation systems. All that is left is QA and Spellcheck in MemoQ. Tomorrow I start a 50 000 word project, a whole manual for a slitter/scorer for corrugated paper due on the 19th of August. And Friday I have also agreed to proofread some small marketing fashion texts. Busy, busy bee! 1 user Today: 1. Just delivered a review of a technical translation (Manual for drone software) 1056 words. 2. Finishing off a bigger UI-string project, using Xbench for Quality Assurance. 3.Small 400 word translation in Danish>Norwegian language pair – Pet Food marketing content. :-) Copywriting a short marketing/technical document 500 words ! I am working on a 9000 word UI string project (Application software for handling accounting and timesheets +++), ENG>NOR, for one of my favourite Spanish clients. An update on a project we started working on last year in the HR/business field. Known project, but still very interesting :-)

Very interesting work! Starting the week with 3000 words corrugating machine translation (Manufacturing/industrial) and 2500 UI-string translation (Finance/HR software) in ENG>NOR BM pair! Wish everyone has a great week ahead! My week is filled up! An industrial engeneering corrugating machine manual of 9000 words, a 1500 word electrical trimmer manual and some small weekly/daily proofreading projects in fashion field + hotel and tourism. (edited) As of the end of January I accepted a part-time position as a weekly interpreter on a big Sociology Project at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I will be conducting phone-calls on behalf of the project in Norwegian and communicating the results in English. I will also be transcribing interviews in Norwegian. This is a service I could provide through my freelance translator business. It is very good to have a bit of variety, as well as practice my interpreting skills. Have had a cold for a week now, it is a tough one. Have been taking it easy, only accepting projects from known clients allowing myself time to rest in between work sessions. Stay warm and healthy! Recently finished 17000 words transation in (English>Norwegian) general field (various marketing/general web site content)! Nice start of the year! Expecting a prosperous year for both me and all of my current and new clients! Let`s make 2019 the best year in the translation market yet!
