            • Gravame - Vem do Latim gravamen, é sinônimo de ofensa grave, agravo, encargo, ônus. Quando atributo de um bem, significa que este possui uma dívida. Neste caso, usa-se o termo "gravame financeiro". No caso de bens, temos os bens moveis, e para estes usa-de muito o termo "alienado", por financiamento ou leasing. Para os bens imóveis, costuma-se dizer que estão financiados, penhorados, hipotecados, ou sob arresto. O gravame pode ser decorrente de financiamentos ou de ações judiciais. Um arresto geralmente é ordenado devido a uma dívida com um tribunal, municipalidade, justiça do trabalho, tribunal rabínico, autoridade fiscal, o Instituto de Seguro Nacional, oficial de justiça e outros.
