No matter who would be Kevin’s successor, his or her roles will be the same, the challenges he or she would face will be the same, and the need to enforce the site rules will remain the same.

前些时候忙于搬家，未得时间查看此论坛。
惊悉志坚大哥另有发展，心中有喜悦有伤悲。喜悦是志坚大哥从此有更多时间潜心于学问，教书育人。伤悲是也许我们以后会很难再看见他的身影（但愿不会）。
自六年前加入此网站后，见识了风风雨雨，迎来送往了不少译者。志坚大哥始终在此默默地风险，为人为事之费风格实在令人敬佩。希望您还能经常回来看看，不时发几张您的摄影作品。

Kevin 并没有脱离翻译这行。首先，他是教外国人学中文，就象北京语言大学的教授教外国人学中文一样。 其次，他开了多年的翻译公司并没有关张。就象别的博士、教授可以兼职搞翻译一样，Kevin 应该也可以。
以前有人自己不了解情况，却胡乱怀疑 Kevin 当 moderator 的动机，质疑他当 moderator 的资格，怀疑他“如何会自愿免费为一个商业提供与自己的专业不怎么相干的服务？”一位自愿为大家无私无偿地提供服务的 moderator 的胸怀，并非是人人都能理解的。Kevin 虽然辞去了 moderator 的职务，但他的无私精神值得后来者学习、发扬、光大。
