Hello everyone
Is it possible to translate an SDLXLIFF file in MemoQ, and to do the editing using tracked changes, and then generate the output SDLXLIFF file so that it also has tracked changes in it?
Thanks
Samuel

However, you need to enable a setting in memoQ that causes it to store the review marks in the SDLXLIFF file together with the translation. However puzzling, you cannot enable this AFTER the file is imported, but AT import time.
To do so, import the SDLXLIFF file(s) "with options" and, in the options, in the Track changes tab, enable the "Import change tracking information" radio button and the "The exported file..." checkbox (please see screen capture below).

To actually add review marks, in the translation grid, choose the Review tab and turn on the "Track changes" toggle icon.

Thanks. The files did not have tracked changes when I imported them, though.
Marek P from the MemoQ mailing list also gave me this invaluable advice:
You also need to set:
Options > Miscellaneous > Import/Export > Export track changes into the target file.
The default setting is "Accept all changes before export".
