I moved my memoQ TM from my C drive to an external HDD, but when I tried to use the TM again, it was nowhere to be found. I selected "Register Local" from the TM selection, but the .mtm file was missing from the folder where the TM should have been.

Is it normal for the TM file to disappear when moving from one drive to another?

The thing with memoQ is that almost every resource it uses (even the documents under translation) is in database form. So, every operation you wish to perform should be performed from within the database management tool, i.e. memoQ. If you try to perform them using a file manager, like Windows Explorer, it's very likely you'll run into trouble.

Now, the best you can do is submit a support ticket to memoQ's team.

Thank you for your response. I will be very careful about moving any file to another drive.
