More than 3 weeks have passed since the thread was started, and more than a week has passed since I asked Henry to stop this practice. Sadly, I got not even an answer, there was no reaction at all.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed concerning the embarrassing Google Ads. It's equally diappointing that fellow translators just don't care.

Hang on, just one thing: Why should ProZ.com staff (Henry?) react to my post?
After all, they are about to lose one client only - for the time being.

I must admit it is rather disconcerting to look at the announcement of ProZ's new support office opening in Ukraine and see advertisements for Ukrainian prostitutes immediately above that. Surely these are not services we want promoted in conjunction with ours. Aside from the fact that this might be misunderstood in a way that would be very insulting to staff there, it's simply not a good fit.

Apparently this issue has been solved as of 0:30 a.m., Chile time!!

You may think that the members who expressed their concerns in this thread are drops in the ocean, but you may also forget that many members and users, for a number of reasons, do not post their opinion or concerns in forums (they are just readers), but they do have an opinion and they will draw their conclusions as well from what they read or hear, and they can read between the lines as well.
Yesterday we had a very important discussion (yellow star) in this forum:

I called it the "tip of the iceberg" because while you addressed a minor issue one of the most important ones was not.

I am convinced that by not solving the problem a 100% you will not solve it at all! Yes, it is not an issue, it is a real problem. Thanks for removing a couple of links. However, this is much like cutting a mushroom and three new ones will grow.
