Think how you are going to withdraw the funds

Just two weeks ago PayPal blocked (or rather limited access to) my account with about $ 1,500 on it. I too live in a country that is not supported by PayPal. Last year I decided to solve the problem and opened a PayPal account with an Armenian Visa card but a US address. PayPal accepted it, and I started receiving payments on that account. I could receive payments, but couldn't withdraw them. The only way was to either transfer the funds to another PayPal account or buy something online. I was hoping to find someone, who would agree to receive the funds on his PayPal account, and then pay me. As long as the account worked, I didn't think too much about this. But recently my card expired and I updated it. Here's where the problems started. PayPal announced that the address does not match with the card and limited access to my account. Now I cannot do any operations with my account. Probably the only way is to travel to the US, open a bank account there, though I am not sure that even in that case I'll be able to withdraw my money. Most probably I have lost it. And the funny thing is that before PayPal allowed me to use my account though everything was the same, but now, they don't. ▲ Collapse
