Ladies and Gentlemen:

An agency has to pay me for his PO I have already completed for a few months or so. I asked him to pay me via Moneybookers.com (MB) rather than bank transfer.

With his failure to do it via MB, I just let him considered optional on such issue (i.e. whichever option is possible). Cash payment was posted for me as if he has no choice and I thought it is a small amount (about $100.00). However, I am only aware of which posting/sending cash from my

However, I am only aware of which posting/sending cash from my country is impossible (i.e. I do not know about his side). Plus, I am not sure if it is internationally impossible. If it is the same, he should frankly have told me.

So far, I have not gotten the payment. Onece, I had emailed him concerning with this issue and he replied that was because of my agreement that the cash was posted to my address. Moreover, I have emailed and asked him if he has any such archives which are verifiable for his real payment. However, I have heard any nothings regarding payment issues from him.

Can any one used to experience this kind of problem help recommending or suggesting to find a possible and good solution? I have no idea at the moment and I am only doubtful of a new way of non-paying agency if I do not receive the payment for my work.

Many thanks & Have a MERRY XMAS!

Consider reporting it on the Blue Board here. It is neither a solution, nor a way to coerce anything from the other party. But it may help you get your problem solved.

regards

Vito

Dear Mr. Vito,

Thanks for your very good suggetion on such issue. It would have become my last choice.

Obviously, they had gotten both my email IDs for MB and bank account for their alternatives before they posted the cash.

Looking for more ideas, I think highly considering your suggestion would not be avoidable despite of which I do not want to make noice due to an amount of a little bit more than NZ$100.00.

MERRY XMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Possible recourse in court Dec 25, 2007

Well Hello Mr. Vibol

Out of curiosity which two countries are involved here?

Are there laws in Cambodia where you can make a case against?

Or is it possible to do so in his land?

You might have some recourse. But as you say it is only a small amount, so
maybe it can be an eye-opener for future work of you.

In future may be to consider working for more renowned employers?

I wish you luck with your plight.

I am frankly telling you and every body that I do not follow the situation developments up as well regarding the legal issues that it has caused some gaps of my knowledge regarding such issues. Learning more is a should-do if the time permits.

Cambodia is still in a developing (solving problems) status, so am I and I am not a people with political and/or financial power. Thus, this amount is not small but I have considered pros and cons regarding this issues. However, posting such issues on this forum means that we have already been in any stages of the public court regarding the situation development.

Once again, I would like to say thank you for your comment regarding the future works. I would let you and every body aware of what you are asking later if I am able to take time learning more. Or it would be great if there is someone knowing it first.

Thanks and Happy NY and Healthy 2008!
