How can I delete blank pages?

I am working on a Word 2003 file. All my efforts to delete blank pages after section breaks are fruitless. Does anybody know how can I do it? Thanks in advance. Regards, AT.

Section break selection Oct 31, 2010

Section break selection can give one successive blank page in case you select "section break on next page." Select another option to prevent a blank page.

Soonthon, Thank you for your reply. I replaced Continous breaks for Next Page breaks but blank pages persist. Regards, AT

Display hidden characters Oct 31, 2010

The first thing I would do is to display all the 'hidden' characters that give the formatting; this may enable you to see if you have a redundant 'page break' or something else that is causing the trouble. I suspect you possibly have both 'section breaks and 'page breaks', which could be the root cause of your problem.

If you would like to send me the file privately, I can have a look at it for you and see if I can find the problem.

Thank you for your kind replies. I set the zoom at 30 per cent and managed to see the blank spaces and deleted them. Best regards, AT
