Hello everyone
In Word 2016, how can I add a shortcut that will reject the currently selected revision, but NOT then automatically move to the next revision? PS. In the mean time I found that pressing Undo and then Redo puts the cursor where it should be, but that adds to shortcuts to press for every revision.

Click on the “accept” drop down options where you will find “accept and move to next” or simply “accept change”.
A click right on your mouse might give you this option too, I am not at my desk at the moment, so I am unable to check. | | | Samuel Murray Netherlands Local time: 04:31 Member (2006) English to Afrikaans + ... TOPIC STARTER

But how does one add a shortcut to this?
I haven't tried this but how about recording a macro and assigning the shortcut to the macro?

In Word 2016 go to Word Options → Customize Ribbon → Keyboard shortcuts: Customize → Categories → Scroll down to select All Commands → Select "AcceptChangesSelected" or "RejectChangesSelected" and then specify your keyboard sequence and press Assign button below

Thanks. How weird that the option RejectChangesSelected is only available when you select "All Commands" and not when you select the "Review Tab" subcategory. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Do not move to next revision, Word 2016 CafeTran Espresso | You've never met a CAT tool this clever!
