Thanks to all of you Aug 31, 2004

for making this powwow such a success! It was great to meet so many fellow translators and make new friends. I'm glad you all had a nice time.
Incidentally, all IDs have been verified, browniz should be credited very soon. And who left their RayBans behind??? Javier was kind enough to hand them in, so let me (or the pub) know if you want them back.

Best wishes all round
Nicole

Thank you.... Sep 1, 2004

....Nicole, for collecting so many interesting people together in one room. And thanks for the "where to go in alternative Brighton" tip. We went there, found it, but only texty, being a true Brit, genuine nice guy and ex rugby thug, had the guts to enter. I had to wait outside to look after jerrie who wouldn't go in without her sun glasses. After a few anxious minutes, texty reappeared wearing a satisfied grin.......

"Alternative Brighton" Sep 1, 2004

This sounds most intriguing. Goes to show that the "locals" don't know as much as visitors... Wish I could've witnessed events

Me too..... Sep 1, 2004

......but texty doesn't like to talk about it much- bit of post traumatic maybe- he'll be OK (he's tough), just needs a bit of time.
