Me han entregado un certificado de estudios para su traducción. Es la primera vez que traduzco un certificado de este tipo y al reverso aparece el significado de todas las abreviaturas, así como las equivalencias de créditos. Mi pregunta es, ¿debo traducir solo el anverso del certificado o debo traducir ambas caras?

Si contiene información que afecta al documento, significados de lo que dice
al anverso, yo sí lo haría, o si no como le van a entender a las calificaciones?

Sí, tienes razón. Ya estuve revisándolo detenidamente y como el sistema de calificaciones norteamericano es muy diferente al de Latinoamérica es necesario conocer las equivalencias para poder revalidar los estudios.

Ante todo, confírmalo con el cliente, puesto que si habéis pactado un presupuesto, todo el texto que figura en el anverso ahora ha de sumarse al presupuesto inicial, así que no dejes de consultarlo con el cliente o con la agencia que te haya encargado la traducción. Te expones a que no te paguen si lo traduces y resulta que no lo necesitaban... suerte!
