A school of language education I had heard of a few years back, The Transnational College of LEX ( http://www.lexlrf.org ), has recently opened offices and begun offering classes in my city (Boston). Their slogan is "Anyone Can Speak Seven Languages". Their approach to teaching appears to be very different than the methods used to teach me Latin, French, and German in high school and college. I'd never heard about it, now I'll have a look at the page and see, apparently useful and interesting for people who already have a bunch of languages they can use, and certainly not a traditional way of teaching, like latin for example. They probably use an approach similar to the natural Approach which is basically teaching thru chunks or example rather than grammar, and which includes direct exposure to foreign languages.
