Sorry, I have no other context to give. This is from the dossier that goes with the service/user manuals for a water treatment plant. The previous parts are the sections on use of and maintenance of the various pumps and valves etc.
As the system operates under pressure I guess this could be to do with the venting systems but if anyone has a clearer idea I'd be most grateful.
