French term
pris en compte par la Cie du Q.G. Air.

This is from a document stating the promotions, postings and deployments of an enlistee of the Free French Air Force during World War II. There are lots of abbreviations throughout the passage and I can’t find anything definitive for C.I.E.:
Arrivé en G.B. & Engagé aux F.A.F.L. à Londres, le [date] et pris en compte par la Cie du Q.G. Air. Affecté au C.I. Air à…
Thank you

Note from asker:
I was aware of CIE being an abbreviation for Company in French but I don't see how it fits here - how can an airforce be a company? Is it redundant in the English? |

: it is a company from the Airforce, the one in the HQ. then with Alain, I wonder whether "pris en compte" means entered or listed.

Air force headquarters company?

I don't think 'pris en compte' means he entered the company, but was recognised by the company -i.e. administrative staff dealing with him at Air HQ and then he was sent to work for the 'C. I. Air' - could this possibly be the international air corps, was there such a thing?

French term (edited):
Cie > Compagnie
Company
The meaning I would expect to find in such a context

From talking to a neighbour who was in the FAFL, it seems that although they existed as an idea, the servicemen were actually assigned to existing /British/ units, so I am assuming that is what the 'pris en compte' means here

Merci, Mohamed ! But apparently, despite the explicit question above, that wasn't actually what Asker wanted to know.
