Quisiera recibir confirmación de que el mail transcripto mas abajo corresponde

Spanish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): philgoddard, cmwilliams (X)

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Please confirm that the e-mail you've sent me [below] is in reference to the [job] application...

...that I've sent you.

More idiomatic, I think, than Lorraine's literal version. This guy certainly sounds pissed off about the response that he has received........ :)

Suerte.

To clarify:

"Below" should be placed in parentheses and is an integral part of the text, while [job] is optional.

The calque of "corresponds" here is entirely out of place in English,in my view.
Peer comment(s):

agree Mónica Sauza : Spot on!!!

Thank you, Moni.
agree Patricia Rosas : I agree about "corresponds" but isn't this about a journal article or something that was submitted for publication (el trabajo realizado aún si su contenido no colma sus expectativas...)

Perhaps you are right, Patricia. In which case the wording would be "....in reference to the transcript I've submitted" or something similar...... Thank you.

I should like to receive confirmation that the email copied below has to do with my submission

the writer wants to know if the answer he has received actually relates to the paper he has submitted, or to someone else's

creo que "mi aplicación" se refiere a "mi diseño" (el diseño que el escritor ha desarrollado y que éste describe en el trabajo que ha presentado para su aprobación). Por eso podrías poner "my design" en vez de "my submission".
