Here is the context:
The Cold Trap can accommodate a wide bore fused silica (up to 0.7 mm ID) containing a few milligrams of a packing material (e.g. Tenax GR), kept in place by a small plug of silica wool and by the column itself. The packing is placed inside the fused silica in the cooled zone of the Cold Trap, so that the retention for the volatile and semi volatile compounds is localized in a region of the trap that will be successively correctly heated to the final temperature.
Can I use "Matérau d'emballage" for this? It just doesn't seem to fit... Any suggestions?

Je pense qu'on parle ici de la "poudre" de Tenax.
Et pas de la poudre conditionnée en cartouche ou autre forme.
"Le Tenax est un polymère poreux (monomère oxyde de 2,6-
diphényl, p-phénylène) présentant une faible affinité pour les composés polaires comme l'eau
ou le méthanol et permettant de prélever les composés volatils ou semi-volatils contenant de 5
