La figure distingue quatre stades temporels : le temps réel, l’infra-journalier (« intra-day »), le J-1 (« day-ahead ») et « forward ». The available commercial capacity is allocated through different timeframes : a part of this capacity is allocated as periodic Physical Transmission Rights (yearly and monthly PTRs) and the other part is allocated as daily Physical Transmission Rights. From the context, I gather that this refers to the monitoring of electricity use on a daily basis and although échéance always concerns a timeframe, I think the notion of time is evident in the use of intraday. The TERMIUM translation of "cut-off" time also seems to coincide with the notion of an allotment and when paired with intraday, expresses the target idea.
