To track an ICD code If you have the ICD code, to find the exact name in the original English, go to:
www.icd10data.com
Here is the link for your specific question:

Muriel Vasconcellos Dec 6, 2013:
ICD C22.9 I just realized that Marlene's link is to the Portuguese translation of the ICD - code C22.9. The exact title is:
'Malignant neoplasm of liver, not specified as primary or secondary
Í will provide a link below for checking ICD codes.
Muriel Vasconcellos Dec 6, 2013:
International Classification of Diseases This phrase is obviously taken from the ICD (see link below). The ICD uses 'unspecified' throughout when detailed information is missing.
rir Dec 5, 2013:
o non specified refere-se ao facto de nao estar especificado se o cancro (neoplasia maligna) eh primario ou secundario
rir Dec 5, 2013:
vi agora que era para conferir o termo em ingles.

malignant neoplasm of (the) liver, unspecified

This terminology is from the International Classification of Diseases, which was published originally in English. So translating the termionlogy from Portuguese is a back-translation.

The ICD uses the term 'unspecified' when it is not possible to determine further details.

See any reference to the ICD for examples.
