English term (edited):
further comprising retaining said cell suspension
qui comprend en outre la rétention de ladite suspension cellulaire
... qui comprend en outre la rétention de ladite suspension cellulaire pour...
(further comprising retaining said cell suspension for...)
Bonne besogne.

: Exactly as I already said; EXCEPT that the source text sentence is incomplete, so as Asker points out, there is some question as to what the subject of 'qui' would be in your formulation.

Le brevet complet se trouve là :
https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=CA94...
A mon avis, il faut cette fois s’écarter de la sacro-sainte traduction "comprenant/consistant" (c'est la description, plus souple que les revendications) pour quelque chose comme :
La suspension cellulaire du paragraphe [000259], IMPLIQUANT EN OUTRE de garder ladite suspension ….
We're all still waiting...
A method of manufacturing a cellular therapy product comprising the steps of >> Un procédé de fabrication d’un produit de thérapie cellulaire comprenant les étapes consistant en :
The method of Paragraph [000226], further comprising retaining said …
If that isn't the right context, what is? From the extract given here, we can see that the preceding text explains and justifies the way this expression is used in THAT instance; so what is the CORRECT preceding text for the expression you have asked HERE? The fact the sentence is incomplete very strongly points to the significance of the preceding text...
comprenant les étapes consistant à : oui, ok
une idée de trad : comprenant en outre l'étape consistant à garder ladite suspension.... pour administration... quand ledit échantillon contient
Mea culpa et au temps pour moi
(a) incubating human cells in a solution comprising a non-human protein;
(b) adding a volume of a liquid vehicle to said cells to obtain a pharmaceutically acceptable cell suspension;
(c) obtaining at least one sample representative of said pharmaceutically acceptable cell suspension;
(d) quantifying an amount of said non-human protein present in said sample; and
(e) retaining said cell suspension for administration to a patient when said sample contains less than about 42 micrograms of said non-human protein per milliliter.
[000227] The method of Paragraph [000226], further comprising retaining said cell suspension for administration to a patient when said sample contains less than about 30 micrograms of said non-human protein per milliliter.
'further' is not really part of your phrase, but simply means 'and in addition' etc. — the translation you require here could possibly be 'et ... en outre'?
'comprising retaining' might be easier to understand if you consider it as 'comprising the act of retaining...'
Perhaps something along the lines of 'comprenant en outre la rétention de ladite...'?
Note that as it stands, your source text sentence appears incomplete — it does not contain an active verb. This could conceivably indicate some kind of error, but more likely implies that this in some way follows on as some kind of bullet point from what goes before — which it might be helpful for us to see?
