David criticized jesse's view to be of an oximoranic position and that no one takes him seriously .He contests that none of jesse's argument makes sense so he criticized checnovian christian view point saying that there is no connection between the two.It is beyond jesse's mental reach to address the quetion his juxtaposition begs :how can achristian universe informed by love and the prospect of redemption be squared with the cold chekhovian cosmos,an indifferent nature and rushing fate?
