English to French Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters Simple question - probably ;)

Hi everyone!

I am currently translating a leaflet showing how important safety is at work and I am not sure how to interpret this "observe for".

Here is the sentence: " One way you can make seeing safety second nature is by observing continuously for safety. Think for a moment about a job you do all the time, something that is second nature to you"

My first translation was the following: " L’une des manières dont vous pouvez faire de la vigilance une deuxième nature est de respecter en permanence les règles en matière de sécurité. Réfléchissez un instant sur le travail que vous faîtes au quotidien, une tâche à laquelle vous êtes habitué"

Now I am thinking that it might actually be more elegant to start with "Pour que la vigilance devienne une seconde nature; vous pouvez commencer par... " or sth like this, but I am getting stuck with this "observe for", not sure I am getting it right.

Could you please help? (deadline in 3 hours..)
