Directions for Use:
A. Preparation
1. Before trocar placement, it is important to establish and maintain a proper pneumoperitoneum.
2. Make the skin incision at the desired site of entry, slightly larger than the outer
diameter of the trocar sleeve. This is important to prevent later dilations “hang up” on
the skin. The incision may be extended deeper into any underlying adipose tissue or fascia as
determined by the surgeon.
3. Hemostasis of the skin and dissected tissue should be accomplished before proceeding.
