P.S. Since VV does not appear to be an English abbreviation/acronym, but rather a German one, I think this question should have been posted elsewhere, i.e. in the German to English Kudoz section...

Es wäre gerade hier sinnvoll, wenigstens den kompletten Satz oder Absatz einzustellen. Kann vice versa (gegenüber) heissen oder etwas ganz anderes.
Die deutesche Verdingungsordnung ist hier vermutlichdie VOB, nicht die VV

... Thank you very much for the ideas. But unfortunately, even the quickdict couldn't help. Since it concerns the building of depots in Germany as I assume that the law of nations is not involved. I decided for "Verdingungsverordnung" because there is a similar term in Germany regarding the awarding of contracts. Thank you very much.
