「薬剤耐性変異株の出現による体内ウイルスの急激な増殖」と修正させて頂きます。

ただしKaraさんが書いておられるように、日本ではウイルスの「ブレークスルー」または「ブレイクスルー」と表記しているケースがかなりあるようです。
