According to the German physician, Kohler, it is necessary to "transport" a certain physical stimulus of a relevant frequency into the organism through the "loop-hole" in such a way that the conscious sensation is not informed about it. For this reason, the electrical current of the basic alpha rhythm frequency is selected, and this current is subsequently induced in a non-contact (electrodeless) way to a complicated network of afferent neural pathways, and this influences the vegetative nervous system and finally also the CNS.
