English term

cradle to cradle

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Safety Electricity
This section of a safety manual indicates situations where authorized rubber gloves MUST be used, and at some point it says:

Cradle to cradle and ground to ground when working on any structures with energized conductors or equipment.

Can´t find the meaning of cradle to cradle, not even en English, that would apply to this context.

Thanks in advance.

antes y después del elevador

Es decir, "antes de montarse en el elevador hasta después de salir de él nuevamente"

«When working while on an aerial lift or bucket, rubber gloves should be worn “cradle to cradle,” which means wearing rubber protective equipment is essential from the time workers are on the ground, prior to commencing work, to the time workers are back on the ground after all the work is complete.”

Diría que hay que llevar guantes cuando se va de andamio a andamio. No puedes quitártelos... y arriesgarte a "electrocutarte" accidentalmente...

When employees are working on energized circuits or equipment using the rubber glove method, rubber protective-insulating gloves and sleeves rated for the exposure of the highest nominal voltage shall be worn cradle-to-cradle when working from an aerial platform.

Entiendo que la "aerial platform" es un andamio...

2. Are there examples when gloves and sleeves are required, when working in a bucket (cradle to cradle) when can I remove rubber gloves and sleeves while in the bucket?

When employees are working on energized circuits or equipment

and sleeves rated for the exposure of the highest nominal voltage
shall be worn cradle-to-cradle when working from an aerial

Note from asker:
Yes, that is exactly the case. Thank you for your concern Taña.
