colgarse en una pipa de noche junto al mar
me parece que eso es mas parecido a como lo diria un pothead, seguro que no diria "pipa de Marihuana" porque es obvio y no necesita aclararlo. Es una opcion...

No creo que haya ningún equivalente a "bubble" para este caso, pero en la Argentina es muy común usar el verbo "quemar" cuando se trata de fumar marhuana. Podrías poner: "quemar una pipa de agua..." o "quemar yerba en una pipa de agua".
O también, ya alejándonos de la literalidad: "volarnos la cabeza / colocarnos con una pipa de agua" o simplemente "fumarnos una pipa de agua".
