A stepper motor: 'a motor that can divide a full rotation into a large number of steps'
Had to research this so all I can do is send results; it's the first I've heard of the motor too.
1. (from the Janome site)
What is the Stepping Motor?
A stepping motor, also known as a **pulse motor**, is a motor whose rotation speed is determined by the number of input pulse signals...
2. (from the Wikipedia site)
"A stepper motor is a brushless, synchronous electric motor that can divide a full rotation into a large number of steps, for example, 200 steps. Thus the motor can be turned to a precise angle."

Hmmm, Tony M. I know very little about this, but Googling "stepper motor" + "air conditioning" brings up almost 40,000 hits....

Comment: "Dear all,
First of all, I will send you greeting accompanying my gratitude. Thank you all for your effort!
I will use your suggested phrase (I will actually translate the word into Turkish later-on) as pulse motor doesn't seem to be widely used term.
Warmest regards,
Binnur"

pulse motor
In a pulse motor comprising a rotor, a drive coil excited by a predetermined drive current to drive the rotor, and a yoke for guiding a magnetic flux generated by the drive coil to a predetermined magnetic path; the yoke is provided with an aperture to restrict the flow path of an eddy current induced by the magnetic flux generated by the drive coil.

pulse jet motor = athodyd
Either of the other answers could be right, but there is also the pulse jet motor or athodyd (aero-thermo-dynamic duct) as used by the Germans in the Second World War as the power unit for flying bombs.

Ahhh, but the term, "ATHODYD", is a term the russian pulse jet enthusiasts liked to call their valved pulsejet creations, also. So, we'll just use it here ...
