A French recipe I'm translating (Pièce de filet de taureau cuit en cocotte) calls for "2 petites courgettes boules" among the ingredients.
I'm working into Brit Eng, so I'm going for "courgette" rather than "zucchini", but what does the "boule" add here? Thanks in advance for any advice...
