moyens de flexion arqués

French to English Tech/Engineering Medical: Instruments patent for a stent
I've been going through patents on line and not finding what I want, so where else can I look? Here, I'll type as much as I can stand (it's a PDF):

I wish I could include an image. Thanks for any help you can offer!

that's *surprising* language!
Dr Sue Levy (X) Apr 26, 2007:
Concentrate on "moyens de flexion" - patents use awful and surising language - have a look at means of "bending means" - it does exist in patent land e.g. http://www.freepatentsonline.com/4941455.html and many more

bendable joint

1. An intravascular tubular stent expandable between a first, constricted state and a second state of greater expanded diameter; said stent comprising in its constricted state: a plurality of radially expandable rings each formed of a plurality of circumferentially extendable elements, each circumferentially extendable element comprising: at least one first functional unit having a bendable joint from which a pair of arms extend so as to form therebetween an elongate opening disposed in a first direction; and a plurality of second functional units each of which having a bendable joint from which a pair of arms extend so as to foam therebetween an elongate opening disposed in a second direction; said first direction being substantially perpendicular to said second direction; and each pair of adjacent radially expandable rings being connected to each other at at least one location.
