XXXX = the proprietary name of a product being loaded. No idea what it is, but may be alumina.

In the old days, literally 'hoops', but I don't know what the 'official' jargon term is these days, hence low c/l!

Seems to get quite a respectable number of Google hits, also found 'cross-members', I suspect the 'hoops' are the raised (arched) ones — helps water run off, and the 'cross-members' are the flat, straight-across ones.
