"Das ohne jede Nacharbeit auf das Modell gesetzte Gußobjekt paßt absolut spannungsfrei, was durch die 17-fache Vergrößerung ***bei 48 cm*** Monitordiagonale überzeugend dargestellt wird."
From a text about dental precision casting. I don't quite follow what they're saying here. Currently I have this translation:
"The casting object placed on the model without any reworking fits with absolutely no stress at all, which is convincingly shown by the ***48 cm monitor diagonal*** magnified 17 times."
That doesn't quite seem right to me. TIA for helping me straighten this out.

monitor size
it's saying that the monitor measures 48 cm from the top left corner to the bottom right (or bottom left to top right)
17-fold magnification on a screen this size will produce a larger image than on a smaller screen. And the image is 'überzeugend'
Any help?

Comment: "Thanks Cilian. I think if I just say "48 cm monitor" and drop the word "diagonal", that should do the trick. Appreciate your help."
